The Community Laundrette is located on the ground floor of the Coach House business centre and is available for both private and small commercial use.
Anyone who wishes to travel to use the laundrette can walk through the gardens for a quick 30 minutes or enjoy a browse in the charity shop on a Wednesday while the washing is completed.
The commercial machines allow a large wash in a short time and is reasonably priced.
It is our intention to grow this venture into a community resource providing a great friendly, efficient service creating employment and community benefit.
A full load washed and dried takes approximately 1 1⁄2 hours and costs £8 in total. An ironing service is also available.
Opening times are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm or by private arrangement.
It commenced operation in 2009 as part of a refurbishment programme and was part funded by the Department of Social Development.
