Romance in the Land

Crossfire Trust reached their target towards rasing funds for the new apartments for supported accommodation at the Valentines weekend fundraising dinner and concert.

Barclays Bank agreed to match £for£ the first £750 raised and this brought the total raised to £3,200.

With increased publicity in local press and national radio, new visitors and even supporters who had previously sponsored the charity from a distance made it to the event.

As well as a 3 course meal those that attended were thrilled with the performance of singer/songwriter Brian Houston.

Director of Crossfire Trust Ian Bothwell encouraged everyone to return with their friends for the official opening of the apartments in August.

The evening was made possible by the professional service of sound engineer Aaron Logan from Alpha Audio Systems, cook Deirdre Graham and the Volunteer Bureau for travelling expenses for the volunteers.
